BBC talks to youngest girl on Everest

New Delhi, India: Malavath Poorna, a poor tribal girl from India, scaled Mount Everest in May. Poorna is set to become the youngest girl to have scaled the world’s tallest mountain, at 13 years and 11 months. I chatted with her via satellite phone, while she was at Everest base camp, 5400 feet above sea level, heading back to her village.
