Rahul was buried just outside the school by his grandfather, who wanted the grave to serve as a memorial to him and reminder of the tragedy. “He was very smart, he was speaking a lot of English, he was a very good looking boy. Everyday he would ask me for a little money to buy eggs or mishti for himself, and I would give him at least ten rupees,” said his grandfather.
